TERMITE CONTROL:

Each spring starting in mid-March thru April, Subterranean termites will begin to swarm as winged reproductives emerge to start new colonies. As the weather starts to warm and typically after rains, a mature colony of at least three years will produce swarmers.

These swarmers fly from the colony then pair up with a mate as they search for a location to start a new colony. Each female is looking to become the queen of her new colony. She lays her eggs, which eventually hatch and become workers. Some of the new termites will develop into soldiers and will be tasked with defending the queen and the other colony members.

If you find winged insects swarming inside your home, it's wise to call in an expert to identify the pest and the extent of the problem.

RODENT CONTROL:

In the fall, we start to see problems with rodents as the weather cools down, and as nights become cold, rodents will find access to local homes and businesses. These pests are most active at night, and infestations can occur without you even realizing it until they multiply. Rodents have the potential to:

Spread disease. Rats and the parasites they carry will spread many diseases like plague, typhus, and rat-bite fever.

Contaminate food. Bacteria-infested urine and fecal droppings will spoil food or even become infected with parasites such as tapeworms.

Damage property. They are constantly gnawing with their teeth and will chew through wiring, building materials, insulation, and ductwork.

This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment."

Our Approach to Commercial Pest Control

When dealing with commercial businesses that have so much at stake when it comes to pest control and health and safety, we often take a very systematic approach to our service. The general outline of our process is itemized below.

  • Inspection and Identification: We'll check for pest activity, environmental conditions, and potential entry and exit points.
  • Discovery and Proposal: Next, we document our findings for reference and come up with an educated plan of action. We normally take into account the following factors:
  1. Challenges & Problems
  2. Processes, Workflow, & Pre-requisites
  3. Define Desired Outcomes
  4. Assumptions, Issues, and Dependency
  5. Individual Roles & Responsibilities
  6. Cost, Duration, and Terms & Conditions
  • Client Communication: The proposal is reviewed with you, and we address questions or concerns.
  • Implementation: We will implement an integrated pest management solution to your pest problem that will incorporate the following
  1. Set Action Thresholds: Sighting a single pest (one time) does not always mean control is needed.
  2. Monitor and Identify Pests Not all pests require control, and the solution is matched to a specific pest.
  3. Prevention A is always the first line of pest control. IPM programs work to manage indoor and outdoor spaces to prevent pests from becoming a threat. For example, having wood mulch too close to foundations invites termites.
  4. Control Methods are evaluated for both effectiveness and risk. Effective, less risky pest controls are chosen first, including highly targeted chemicals, such as pheromones to disrupt pest mating, or mechanical control, such as trapping. If less risky controls are not working, then additional pest control methods would be employed, such as targeted spraying of pesticides.
  • Documentation and Follow-Up: We keep a record of every treatment performed on your commercial property. We revisit these records in the event that adjustments need to be made. Ongoing concerns will be addressed to remove persistent pests.

Types of Pest Control We Specialize In

We're prepared to work on any form of pest infestation, but some of our common services include:

Rodent Control

Rodents can carry diseases and host fleas that spread viruses. They are also known for contaminating food with their fur, saliva, and waste. This is especially concerning for businesses in the food industry. Our experts in rodent control use prevention techniques along with elimination methods to stop rodents from infiltrating your business.

Termite Control

Termites are notorious for causing severe structural damage that will cost thousands of dollars in repairs. Our termite prevention services will protect your property by both removing and preventing wood destroying insect infestations.

Bed Bug Control

Bed bugs are persistent and are difficult to remove permanently without experience. They feed on human blood, so quick removal from your property is essential. They can quickly return to properties they were just eradicated from if the property owner isn't educated about how to keep them at bay.

Wasp & Nest Removal

Sometimes, the formation of a nest of wasps, yellowjackets, and hornets can overtake your property. These insects can spell trouble for the business. Often they are very aggressive, defending nesting areas. Our stinging pest removal services will make your business safe in no time.

Cockroach Control

They are relatively small but can be very troublesome. Cockroaches live in a wide range of environments and can withstand extremely low temperatures, Only about four widespread species are commonly regarded as pests. They are troublesome because, as social insects, they are inclined to aggregate.

Ant Control

Ants are among the most numerous insects in the world. They are highly social and live in large colonies. The most common ants in our area are Argentine Ants, Pharaoh Ants, Pavement Ants, & Carpenter Ants. Aside from being a nuisance, they have been known to transport several different food-borne illnesses, including salmonella.

Commercial Pest Control Plans

All of our clients require unique, custom treatment plans. Depending on the type of building and use of the property, there will be different methods used to rid your property of pests. The type of infestation type will determine the work required.

Commercial establishments have countless pest management needs. Some must adhere to pest-related regulations specific to the industry, such as food processing plants, schools, and medical facilities. Without the effective implementation of pest control and prevention programs, a commercial property could fail an audit, experience a devastating infestation, and ultimately lose time and money. That's why we're here.

Because of Stockton's large commercial infrastructure, we service accounts for pest control throughout Stockton's commercial districts and maintain a presence in the area.

Stockton's Unique Commercial Areas

We believe that the city is currently making a resurgence from its past financial troubles in 2012 and is well positioned for a comeback. The city's revenue base suffered because of the decline in real estate valuations. However, the fundamentals for this city remain strong as it is centrally located in California's Central Valley and is home to an international deep-water port. Stockton is situated in the hub of four major freeways, two transcontinental railroads, an international waterway, and a regional airport.

Stockton has an interesting history, and its shows in its current layout and demographics. The city was incorporated in1850, and early settlers included gold seekers from Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, the Pacific Islands, Mexico, and Canada. The city's historical population diversity is reflected in street names, architecture, ethnic festivals, and most of its citizens' faces and heritage. During the California Gold Rush, Stockton became a river port city and the hub of roads to the gold settlements in the San Joaquin Valley and from LA.

From the mid-19th century onward, Stockton became the region's transportation hub, dealing mainly with agricultural products. Today, Stockton is California's 13th most populous city and serves as San Joaquin County's county seat. It has a total city area of 65 square miles and a population of 317,000 (as of 2020). Stockton's seaport serves as a gateway to the Central Valley and beyond.
